Important GateWeb Information




IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL HOMEOWNERS
AND RESIDENTS

 

The Savanna Board of Directors and the Castle Management Team, would like to welcome you to your new residence at Savanna.  The following information is extremely important to you the new homeowner or tenant.  Your name and phone number will not appear on the gate system until you register first at the Clubhouse office located at 1300 Savanna Commons Drive. 

Upon registering you will be given your assigned User ID, Password and Pin #. The information you will be given is to access the GateWeb System for the home. In most cases there was a previous owner or tenant so it is important that you replace these passwords with those of your own.  With these codes you will be privileged to change are the User ID and the Password. THE PIN# REMAINS PERMANENT TO IDENTIFY THE HOME AND CAN NOT BE CHANGED.

You can access GateWeb through our community’s website at www.savannafl.com/ on the top menu bar click on Gate Access and then click on the tab that says GateWeb. You can do this from home, office or anywhere in the world through the internet. This will link you to the GateSafe portal to begin to set up the simple access to your own private account using the above information.  Simply type the information that was given and the system will guide you through the changes to replace the old homeowner’s information and guest list.

NO ONE KNOWS YOU ARE HERE UNTIL YOU CHANGE THIS INFORMATION!  It is imperative that you do this as soon as possible so your moving vans, service people and friends can find you when they drive up to the guard gates.  Make sure all visitors know your “STREET ADDRESS” FOR QUICKER PROCESSING AND ACCESS.

THE NEXT THING YOU NEED TO DO, IS FOLLOW THE EASY STEPS AND DELETE THE OLD HOMEOWNERS GUEST LIST.  UNTIL YOU DO THIS, THESE PEOPLE ARE STILL GAINING ACCESSINTO THE COMMUNITY THROUGH YOUR ADDRESS.  PLEASE DELETE ANYONE YOU DON’T KNOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.



TIPS FOR SCHEDULING VISITORS

Did you know, that by asking your visitors to “use only your address” when they arrive at the visitors lane, it takes security only 20 seconds to process your guest? Remind your guests that they need to show a picture ID, more specifically their Drivers License. It is important that when you enter the Visitors information that you spell their name correctly.

Now that you have changed the User ID and the Password, go ahead and click on “New Visitor” After you enter their name and/or the Company you will need to choose the access level or in other words “how long is the guest pass for?”  The next area to fill in asks; “What type of Visitor?” One time means a one day pass (24 hours). Single entry means one way, one time. Example, someone dropping something or someone off at your home. Extended means you can allow your guest access from 2 days up to 30 days. Example, a guest staying with you for 2 or 3 weeks.  Enter their arrival and departure dates in the proper fields. Denied means no entry and this person will automatically drop off your guest list. Permanent is some one that is a family member or someone near and dear to your heart with a key to your house. Be very cautious as to whom you list as permanent.  This 90 day pass automatically rolls over every 90 days.  So you must ask yourself if this person should be allowed 24 hour access to your gated community.  Please be selective as to who you give this privilege to. Please remember if any of these categories are used the guard will not call the house.  By you entering them into the system, no call is required.  If you do not enter a guest, your home will be called for permission to let a visitor enter.  If you do not answer, or do not have your current phone number at the gate the visitor or service will be denied entry. It is up to you the Homeowner to keep your information updated through the Club House office. The Guards have NO “ADMIN” ABILITY to change your information, for obvious security reasons.

The next box called “Notes” under the “Visitor type” is where you can send a note to the Guard.  For example you might want to say, that you are having a party at the Commons and there is no need to call the house.  Or you may not be home and you want to leave a cell phone # as a contact for a particular visitor or service? Please keep in mind that we process an average of 1600 visitors a day and 2455 visitors per weekend. If all residents pre-registered visitors and vendors the guards can perform the access procedure within 20 seconds and the lines move quickly.

Lastly, please be aware that there are No Commercial Vehicles allowed (including Moving Vans) on Sundays or Holidays. They are allowed access from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM until 8:00 PM Saturday 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM.  There are no exceptions.
